and I'm feeling good

Welcome, folks, to Light of a New Day. This blog project was started back in 2010 by Jake and Sydnee. Over the years, several others have left their mark, by contributing articles, their time, and love for Christ. The blog has went through some dry spells, because - let's face it - we all have moments where posting happy thoughts isn't quite possible. For Jake and Syd both, someone shot the bird dead out of the sky. Unfortunately for them, that bird was a phoenix - and baby, it's back. What you can expect are posts. Maybe not regular, and maybe not all of them will be happy. This phoenix is an honest phoenix, life isn't perfect - and people need to stop acting and teaching like it is. This is Light of a New Day. a REAL day. If you have any thoughts or comments, would like to drop us a contribution, or would like to join our team - drop me a line at trun4rth@yahoo.com

World By Storm

Hi guys, I know it's been a long time since my last post. I apologize for that a million times over. Sometimes my mind just isn't right to post on here. Still, I thank you for reading anyways. I thank you for checking for new updates. It makes me smile.

So I'm officially saying it, I'm going to be stopping the daily devotions feature here, but you can believe that I'll remain active, and possibly more-so than before, now that business has been completed and we've moved on. Thanks for understanding, and your continued support. Spread God's word! It's not a job that's been placed on my shoulders alone!

For those who are interested, Mid America's Teens Encounter Christ is holding two retreats in the very near future, one in January, in Jefferson City, and one in February, in Rolla. Syd and myself will be serving on our respective weekends here, and we encourage you to attend, or at least get the word out.

Thanks, and God Bless,
Jake
