Welcome, folks, to Light of a New Day. This blog project was started back in 2010 by Jake and Sydnee. Over the years, several others have left their mark, by contributing articles, their time, and love for Christ. The blog has went through some dry spells, because - let's face it - we all have moments where posting happy thoughts isn't quite possible. For Jake and Syd both, someone shot the bird dead out of the sky. Unfortunately for them, that bird was a phoenix - and baby, it's back. What you can expect are posts. Maybe not regular, and maybe not all of them will be happy. This phoenix is an honest phoenix, life isn't perfect - and people need to stop acting and teaching like it is. Blerg

LOL, So it's yet to be known whether I've gone insane or not, but I thought I'd give you all a look at what I'm doing lately.

So, I'm currently still unemployed, so I am constantly searching for a job, and lately I've also been expanding my knowledge in a dangerously wide range. I'm learning the C++ programming language, brushing up on my French, and I'm now taking a New Testament Theology course online. I think my brain is going to explode. Not to mention the fact that on the creative side of things, I'm working on a fiction novel, and practicing guitar. Let me tell you, heavy guitar usage, coupled with constant keyboarding on the computer, it leaves for some very unhappy fingers.
