Welcome, folks, to Light of a New Day. This blog project was started back in 2010 by Jake and Sydnee. Over the years, several others have left their mark, by contributing articles, their time, and love for Christ. The blog has went through some dry spells, because - let's face it - we all have moments where posting happy thoughts isn't quite possible. For Jake and Syd both, someone shot the bird dead out of the sky. Unfortunately for them, that bird was a phoenix - and baby, it's back. What you can expect are posts. Maybe not regular, and maybe not all of them will be happy. This phoenix is an honest phoenix, life isn't perfect - and people need to stop acting and teaching like it is. TEC 225!!!

TEC 225 is this weekend and I am on team! This past week has been a whirlwind of excitement and madness as I get geared up for the weekend. Our theme is "Living in His Presence" and our theme song is "Let it Rise" by Big Daddy Weave. I am putting together a few final touches before I head off to Taos, MO for #225, but I thought I'd stop by and say hi. I know I have been... absent for a while. I promise you all I haven't left. I am always praying for you. Life's just been crazy. And now that I have moved into my new place, I no longer have internet acces. Until days like today when I visit home and can get on a blog a word or two. I gotta jet. Things to do and people to talk to but I love you all and hope to see you very soon! :-D
