Had a beautiful Mass today, my little complainy secret is the music selection for the past few weeks, it's been dreadful. Like, songs nobody's heard before, because they're that old, and don't have ANY melody. Thankfully today we were treated with some more familiar music :) and an amazing homily.

Here we have Samson narrating. Delilah who he speaks of is something of a goddess in terms of beauty, and something of a hollow shell in regards to everything else. This scripture is important to me, and the scripture surrounding this selection. Outward beauty is never and should never be the reason you fancy someone. I'll let you know it too, if I hear you say how hot someone is. Vanity is a plague upon today's contemporary society. Pretty people feel they need pretty people, when they should be concerned with how absolutely beautiful the soul is, in their object of fancy. Emotional attraction will lead to a physical attraction. However, in today's society, it's all about "well, their hot, they're probably good in bed" and then afterwards, lets see if we can replicate the event, leading to what looks like a relationship, but is truly a trainride to hell and unhappy times.
